There was cream, some sweet, nutty- complexity without being complex. As I smoked it, the ash held firm as the cigar burned evenly through each third.There was no harshness in the smoke, just the aroma of something familiar from way back. This cigar was very relaxing. It is steady, with turns every time you indulge. The Undercrown Shade is what it is, not a head jolt or something tasteless, unpleasant and forgettable. It is that nice tune in your head, playing along as you experience each note, appreciating what it means to you and wanting to hold on to that sound a little while longer.
